The Continentals bring their mature musical experience to concerts, festivals and
special events the world over. Hundreds of thousands of listeners have enjoyed The
Continentals over the last 17 years.
In addition to their extended residencies at two World Expositions (including 4
and a half months at EXPO '92 in Seville, Spain) they have performed extensively
on Princess and Sundance cruises and are especially popular at the world renowned
Whistler Mountain Resort. The band has also opened for the Tragically Hip, Jim Byrnes,
Sue Medly and the Northern Pikes. Their client list includes many major corporations
and associations. The Continentals have given thirty-three performances at Vancouver's
prestigious1200-seat Commodore Ballroom alone.

The Continentals have been together for over 17 years. They are polished world class
performers. The individual credentials of the musicians read like a "Who's Who?"
of the North American music business: David Foster, kd lang, Celine Dion, Bob Hope,
Prism, Jim Byrnes and a galaxy of other stars in all genres.

They are tight yet spontaneous, energized yet polished, funky yet classy, modern
and hip with a retro chic.
Versatile...
With a repertoire of literally hundreds of tunes, the group easily presents great
dance and listening music from all eras: swing hits from the 30's to 40's, great
60's rock, top R&B and soul from the 70's and the best of today's contemporary hits.
The sextet's skilled "front line" of trumpet and saxophone allows them to faithfully
reproduce the sounds of swing, motown, blues and jazz while adding punch and brilliance
to their most current songs. Given notice, The Continentals are able to research
and perform an enormous range of special music requests from favorite wedding songs
to traditional music of many cultures and classic strict-tempo dance. Comfortable
in casual, semi-formal or formal attire, the Continentals are completely at home
in venues of any scale or style and. For smaller events and budgets, the group also
performs as a trio or quartet.
