Celebrating their 20th Anniversary together, the band DR.
STRANGELOVE has become a Vancouver musical icon. They have
managed to remain on the cutting edge of the City's live music scene
by bouncing effortlessly between styles as distinctly different as
Elvis to Lady Gaga. Their ability to constantly re-invent themselves
musically to suit the tastes of the audience of “that " moment, stems
from their deep desire and dedication to always be more than a live
jukebox. The band members see themselves as "good time enablers"
for those who have come to the party.
DR.STRANGELOVE'S shows are highly audience interactive, always
humorous, and sometimes a bit naughty! The band's vast and varied
repertoire, as well as their two female and three male lead vocalists,
has given them the confidence and ability to welcome audience
requests, often putting a very personal touch on an already great
evening of entertainment and dancing. They are also not afraid to dive
right into a song they've never actually played before, creating an
energy that is contagious!
2013 promises to be another great year for this band of brothers and
sisters. As well as continuing in their role as Vancouver's musical
ambassadors for numerous corporate, private and fundraising events.
