Bobby Bruce is a modern renaissance man; singer, actor, musician, writer, painter. A charismatic and passionate performer, Bobby began his professional career on stage at the age of eleven and has never looked back. He has spent the last quarter century performing for live musicals, television, film, in the studio; and on stages all over the world.

"Bobby Bruce is an actor - and a good one!"
Hubert O'Hearn, Chronicle Journal, Thunder Bay, September 25, 2001

Across North America, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia Bobby has achieved public and critical acclaim performing as Nearly Neil with the Solitary Band. His amazing tribute to Neil Diamond is highlighted in MOCKSTARS - a feature length documentary about Canadian tribute artists.

"It is the passion and energy of his performance, his connection with the audience, and his infectious warmth which sets him in a league of his own."
Samela Harris, Adelaide Advertiser, Australia, September 24, 1996

Inventive and driven, Bobby also headlines Canadian A - A Celebration of Canadian Music and outdoes himself as a myriad of outrageous characters in The Shagadelic Swingers - a musical tribute to the Austin Powers movies.

"Bobby Bruce, music impersonator and razzle-dazzle entertainer par excellence." John P McLaughlin, The Province, Vancouver, Canada, April 7, 2005

As himself, Bobby truly explodes as the consummate entertainer. Born in '69, Bobby marries the sensitivity of the late 60's with the fire of the early 70's. His self titled show underscores his affinity to emotionally connect with his audience through his luxurious voice and astonishing on stage sincerity. Artfully crafting a journey for his audience, blending original music with tasty favourites, Bobby brings audiences to their feet.

"What an incredible and generous performer Bobby Bruce is."
Mary Bryan, Manawatu Evening Standard, New Zealand, October 15, 2003

In 2005, Bobby returned to his musical theatre roots with a starring role in "Cabaret". For which he earned an Ovation nomination and garnered overwhelming critical acclaim. “Bobby Bruce is a dynamo as the ultra-sleazy Emcee.”
Jerry Wasserman, The Province, Nov 11, 2005

Nestled in his Gambier Island home, with his wife of 16 years, Bobby replenishes his creative spirit. With humble appreciation and bold artistic expression, Bobby invites new possibilities.
